Did Verizon do a "scrub" or a "repoint" on your account to change it? A new account can be created, or the alias can be changed, but a username is set permanantly.
In what way was the username changed? Generally speaking, it's not possible for a user to change their username. All other clients fail with an message stating the password is incorrect or can't connect to the account, enter password. Since that change we have been unable to get anything but the webmail to work.
Every email client worked fine until we changed the user name associated with the account. It has nothing to do with Apple products since it does not work on any email client I have tried on Windows either. So far, nothing has worked and no one at Verizon is able to solve the problem.
